The school has an outstanding reputation in the Sports and Arts, recognised by the highest accolade of ‘Sports Mark Gold’. The school has first class facilities and resources that play a major part in creating a stimulating environment for learning. Pupils enjoy lessons in high quality, purpose built accommodation.
Significant investment has been made in the last 7 years, which have included a superb Vocational Centre and Sports Village. Classrooms for the English, Music and Drama faculties have been completely refurbished to provide modern learning environments. Most recently the school has acquired a new Library equipped with a wide variety of IT equipment, reading books and other materials.
The school boasts teams in the majority of sports and has enjoyed amazing successes including becoming Trafford Badminton Champions in 2 year groups.

Our young sporting leaders have made a significant impact on the school and they have spread their skills and experiences to other schools in the area and in our partner school in the Ukraine. Broadoak’s sports leaders frequently host inter-school competitions with all of the Partington primary schools.
Music, dance and art are offered during the school day but also include regular trips to the theatre and other cultural events. The school production takes pride of place and involves many pupils and staff working together on and off stage. The most recent school production of ‘Bugsy Malone’ also involved local Partington primary pupils performing as part of the cast.
